Mini Fest

Hello All!

And thank you again for supporting mini_fest in 2017!

Next year (2018) will be our TENTH round of the fest!

I am certainly planning to have the fest return in 2018 to celebrate our 10th anniversary, but beyond that I'm not completely sure what the future of the fest might hold. So, that's where you come in!

I have a quick feedback poll I was hoping you might fill out to help me as I begin to plan the long-term future of mini_fest.

I know that there are so many awesome holiday fests and lots of competition when deciding what to create for as well as what to spend your time reading and commenting on.

And while we had a great turnout again this year of creators, I'm also aware that comments on LJ fests are down from previous years. (However I hope you still enjoyed participating in the fest last month despite all of the above.)

All of that said, I'd like to get some feedback from you all to see if mini_fest is a fest format that you enjoy and would still be interested in continuing to support!

(I'm perfectly happy to continue to run mini_fest as an LJ fest, however if the community feels that LJ run fests are on the way out or no longer viable, I'm not sure what that might mean for this fest. Moving to AO3 is a big decision and attempting to hunt down and transport 9 years of previous fics is a bit daunting. However, I think adding one optional fest collection to post all past and present fics would be an easy enough endeavor.)

Notes: Decided to interpret these prompts broadly, and these two boys caressing each other was the first thing that came to mind. Happy New Year, and I hope you enjoy! Also, Draco has a bad ass look (but I like it).
Summary: Harry and Draco are at Seamus' flat for a new year's eve party and end up having a few drinks. For once, they're getting on with each other and start feeling sleepy as the night goes on. It's only when they move into a quieter room that Harry remembers Draco's wish of wanting to lie next to someone and hold them. Harry tries to make it happen, even though it doesn't quite go the way he imagined.
