The due date for

mini_fest is November 20!

We've already started to receive some fabulous entries, so I thought it was time for a couple of reminders!

Here are a few things that will make your mod's job much easier as we prepare to receive submissions:

- Please send your submissions to: hpminifest at gmail.com

- Include your name in the email subject as well as 'fic' or 'art'.

- Include your header in both the .doc and the email.

- Please place an lj-cut tag in your story.
The lj-cut text should be "The Title of your Fic". < lj-cut text="FIC TITLE" >

- Check the formatting of your fic to ensure there are manual line breaks between paragraphs.

- Include all other other html coding that is needed. You may want to test post your submission in a private entry to your journal before submitting to be sure that the coding is correct.

- The fic/art header appears below.

Remember, if you need a beta you can check with

hp_betas or

hp_betas_wanted. If you have done so, and are still having a problem finding someone to look over your story, please the mods know.

If you think you will need an extension, please let us know ASAP!

Fest submissions were due on November 18!

If you have not requested an extension and we haven't received your submission, please contact us to let us know if you still plan to participate!

So far we have received approximately 20 fics and 8 art! We have also granted a few extensions! So we still have some fabulous things coming hopefully!

It's not too late to join us by sending your fic/art. And you can definitely still arrange an extension if you need it! We'd love to be able to share at least one or two holiday offerings each day through the month of December!

If you didn't officially sign up, but you'd still like to be part of the fest by helping out as a pinch hitter or a fest filler, please let me know! As is the usual case with fests, we've had a few dropouts and we could use a bit of help fluffing our lovely posting schedule! If you'd like to be a holiday angel and help us out, the mods shall throw much love your way ♥

It's shaping up to be a fantastic fest! Thank you to everyone who has supported the community and fest! We are so excited to share all the holiday cheer with you starting on December 1!

Submissions are due tomorrow, Sunday, November 18! (Unless you've already made arrangements with us!)

As long as we receive it while it is still November 18 somewhere in the world we will be happy!

It's also not too late to request an extension if you need one! Please just let us know!
