Prompt Submissions

Judging by the response to the question regarding prompts in the poll I posted. Almost everyone wants a prompt grab, and to do this we need prompts.

So we need Christmas or New Year themed prompts for participants to use when writing/drawing for mini_fest


Prompts can be words, phrases, characters from your favourite Christmas story e.g Scrooge from a Christmas Carol. You can submit scenario prompts e.g buying a gift for the in-laws. You could also check out webfetti, which is where I got the little santa from. All the graphics are free and some are very cute and suggestive. They can also be used as prompts.

Some prompts:
1. Harry and Hugo decide Christmas is the best time to tell Hermione and Ron that they're dating. If only they could get them alone long enough to confess. And when the confession finally comes, will it ruin Christmas?

2. Marauder era--the Marauders have a challenge each year: to see who can find the most embarrasing gifts to give each other. This year, however, Sirius has come up with something he's almost embarrassed to give. (can be Gen or Sirius/other Marauder--your choice).

3. Snarry: Harry tries to find the perfect present to help him confess his love to his teacher.

4. Harry/Ron. As a surprise for his grandchildren, Arthur decides to dress up as Santa and slide down the chimney. He ends up in the wrong room and finds out rather quickly why both Ron's and Ginny's marriages are falling apart.

5. There's only one thing Albus Potter wants under his Christmas tree--Scorpius Malfoy with a big red bow tied around his... ahem...

6. (Next Gen) Lily Luna knows her big brother, James, is pining for Teddy Lupin. She sets a goal to get them together for a Christmas kiss. Unfortunately, cousin Victoire has other plans for Teddy

Harry/Draco: Baby's first christmas, with all the mishaps that can and will happen, with lots of help from the Weasley twins (cause Fred is not dead! damn it!)

Harry/Draco: Traditional Winter Solstice Celebration (none of this Christmas crap)

Harry/Sirius: AU/AR Victorian Christmas, Sirius finds Harry out on the streets, brings him to his home, where love/smut ensues.

Harry/Severus: Harry dies around Christmas, ends up stuck in the after-life with Snape, what's a guy to do when both are given a second chance at happiness.

Ickle!Weasley family Christmas - by this I mean Weasley boys pre-Hogwarts so no later than Bill being 10 years old (no Ginny yet but she could be the family's Christmas surprise.)

I enjoy some fandom clichés, so I thought I'd work them into prompts.

1. Draco/Harry : Draco convinced Harry to spend Christmas at Malfoy Manor with his parents. But Lucius is not pleased with his son's choice of partner.

2. genfic Severus/Harry. Hogwarts years. Snape finally realises what Harry's life at the Dursleys is like. And he decides to help the Potter spawn. After all, he did promise Lily he would protect her child.

3.Harry/Draco. Harry's and Draco's wish come true. Their adoptive daughter is coming home with them for Christmas.

4. It's Christmas and Harry is stuck at the Ministry Yule ball. Then he meets Malfoy (Draco). And the evening degenerates.

Oliver teams up with Harry and the Weasleys for a Christmas Holiday Quidditch match. Percy is dragged along, and as expected none to interested in the game. Oliver decides that Percy needs to develop a healthy interest in the sport and is going to help convince him. Happy ending please.

Set OotP. Severus wants to get Remus a Christmas present that isn't too mushy but shows his attraction to Remus without being obvious to the Order members. Sirius of course gets suspicious of any of Severus's motives. Conflict between Remus and Sirius, and Sirius and Severus over the gift. And maybe something that happens that causes some hurt and with Severus supplying the comfort ^_^ NO SIRIUS/REMUS or REMUS/TONKS. Happy ending.

Art? - Harry and Draco unwrapping Christmas presents, meaning each other ^_^
