My sincerest apologies for the delay, everyone and thank you for your patience! My undying gratitude goes to whitestar_alpha for saving my sanity.

LONG PROMPTS:

1. Harry/Draco - Exchanging IOU's for Christmas



2. Luna, Cormac (or Luna/Cormac) - Christmas shopping in Diagon Alley



3. Draco/Hermione - Christmas party with family



4. At a holiday gathering, Harry mistakenly samples the spiked punch instead of the non-alcoholic version (any pairing)



5. Christmas 1980: I'd love to see snapshots of the various HP families at this time of year - particularly the Potters, Longbottoms, and Malfoy's celebrating their baby's first Christmases in the shadow of the looming war.



6. Hermione/Anthony Goldstein. Anthony takes Hermione home to his parents for the first time, at Hannukkah



7. Severus/Remus - Snape is the Grinch who stole Christmas.



8. Harry gets more in his Christmas stocking than he bargained for (a little cross-dressing here - Mrs Claus!Draco, maybe.



9. Next gen kids at a Christmas party - one of the Weasleys decide to host everyone in the family at their party and the kids' reactions.



10. Ron/Pansy - Ron takes Pansy to the Burrow for Christmas Eve. In his excitement, he brings ALL their gifts to open there, including the one Pansy bought him to be opened in PRIVATE. I'd love to see everyone's reaction (including Molly horrified, and everyone else however you imagine them).



11. Harry/Draco - first Christmas. The dynamics of Christmas at the Manor, including Lucius being less than thrilled at Draco's choice of companion. Extra ? ? ? if there's a scene in the dungeons.



12. AS/S - One of the boys is very nervous about spending Christmas dinner at the other one's family's home. Your choice which. I'd like to see the other get creative to calm him down.



13. First Christmas after the war. Andromeda and Narcissa decide it's time to reconnect. The result? The entire family - including extended family (yes, that means Harry) is there. Mayhem ensues, banter abounds, disasters descend. And by night's end, there is much laughter and holiday cheer. ? Your choice who (if anyone) is paired up with whom. I see it more as a gen fic, but any pairings are fine too.



14. Lucius/Harry--first Christmas together. Draco is horrified. The Weasleys (Molly especially) feel slighted. Lucius manages to save the holiday and everyone is happy in the end. (Bonus if Draco and Ron end up together.)



15. Remus and Sirius spend a white Christmas together.



16. Harry/Draco building a snowman at their first home together.



17. Harry/Draco - well placed red ribbon.



18. Remus/Sirius get caught by an enchanted mistletoe.



19. Remus/Sirius - snowflakes.



20. Rescue of a small, cold animal in winter that turns out to be an animagus



21. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.



22. A snowball fight and eggnog.



23. I am thinking that a family like the Weasley's with all of their new additions and experiences with foreign cultures (Muggle, French, Romanian, Egyptian, Wizarding old and new, just to name a few.) could have a really interesting combination of holiday traditions. Or just snapshots (drabbles?) of different character's personal holiday traditions.



24. Draco loses his wishlist at school. Guess who finds it?



25. Ancient fruitcake that's been passed on family to family, year to year because everyone's too afraid to eat it



26. Mistletoe in the bathrooms; awkward snogging ensues.



27. Severus/Harry - Severus has a surprisingly good voice for carols.



28. Hogwart's Secret Santas - giving wildly inappropriate gifts.



29. "All I Want for Christmas" - Harry makes a Christmas Eve wish that Severus was still alive.



30. Santa's missing and it's up to the wizarding world to deliver all the goodies to muggle boys and girls!



31. Snape as Jack Frost.



32. Draco/Harry - Their first Christmas as parents.



33. "We may not be related by blood, but we're still family." A Christmas tale of an all-adult Xmas; could be H/D with parental Snupin, or some polyamorous/open relationship configuration, or friends-as-family. Please include at least one slash pairing!



34. Never-quench Flaming Christmas Pudding - Weasleys Wizard Wheezes products that never really caught on.



35. "I saw daddy kissing Santa Claus!" Sneaking downstairs to ransack the Christmas Tree, Al and Scorpius find more than they bargained for.



36. Draco/Harry, Ron/Hermione - first Christmas trying to merge Draco and Ron's wizarding traditions with Hermione's (and Harry's) muggle traditions. Friendship ornament that is gifted back & forth each year.



37. A few days before Christmas, Auror Potter is working very late. His boyfriend, Draco, shows up in green boxers and a Santa hat. Little do they know that a sneaky Kingsley and a few aurors have deliberately struck down the silencing spell outside their door...



38. Scorpius finally tells Albus that he wants HIM for Christmas, and is ecstatic to find that HE is tops on Albus' wish list as well (or vice versa).



39. Albus Severus/Scorpius - Albus convinces Scorpius to join the choir/show for the holidays



40. Harry/Draco - Harry brings his new boyfriend Draco to the Burrow to celebrate Xmas (first time being there)

110. Lucius Malfoy's mood turns sour when not only his son but also his grandson introduce their partners to him on christmas eve. Would love it to be Draco/Ron and Scorpious/any Potter (Weasleys and Potters, the ancient rivals of the Malfoys).



111. Married Lucius, in his office, finds himself stuck under the mistloe with Severus Snape, because there is noone around they put it off and are about to walk away when Draco walks in, and upon understanding what's going on, demands that they do not make fun of such an old tradition and that they must kiss. That Draco will stay rooted to that spot, watching, until they do so.



112. Teenage Severus wants to buy his best friend lily the gorgeous green dress she wants (and can’t afford) for the yule ball.



113. Hermione/Remus - Hermione is trapped alone in a cottage in the country. She wanders out into the snow and finds an injured werewolf.



114. Hermione/Sirius - Caught out in a snow storm, Hermione takes refuge in a now deserted Grimmauld Place. But what if she isn't as alone as she thought? In a world of magic Christmas wishes and miracles are very possible.



115. Hermione/Harry - She can't help remembering the Christmas the spent together when they were teens. how can he marry another when they felt so right together?



116. Harry/Draco - Rumours reach the Auror Office that the reclusive heir of Malfoy Manor has been seen riding a sleigh through the moonlit winter nights in Wiltshire. On a whim, Harry decides to visit Draco shortly before Christmas. He finds Draco who is out of touch with reality and fashions himself as the "Moon King" with the Malfoy estates as his realm. Harry stays for the night of the Solstice Celebration. (prompt inspired by the life of Ludwig II of Bavaria)

118. Harry/Draco: meeting under the (charmed) mistletoe (set in Hogwarts)

126. Bellatrix/? or Bella gen. The Black traditions have been around for a long time.



127. Bellatrix/? or Bella gen. Crazy and twisted.



128. Percy/female or gen. When a Christmas prank goes wrong, it's Percy's turn to figure out if he can forgive his family.



129. Remus/Sirius or Lily/James or Snape/Sirius or Snape/Harry - Naughty use of a candy cane

132. Teddy/Al - Al's tired of waiting for Teddy to make a move. He's got mistletoe, egg nog, and a Slytherin plan; Teddy doesn't stand a chance.



133. Harry/Charlie - Post-DH. Harry is sick of the attention he gets from the press, the public, from everyone. They won't leave him alone. So he takes Charlie up on his offer and heads to Romania.



134. Harry/George - Post-DH. It's Christmas at the Burrow, Harry's getting fat, and George has a big announcement to make!! (mpreg, please :D)



135. Neville - Secret Santa, someone keeps leaving Neville little surprise presents in the lead-up to Christmas.



136. Sirius/Remus - "Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer", burnt Christmas dinner and muggle Christmas lights.



137. Neville/Charlie - In a moment of madness, Neville invites the entire Weasley family around for Christmas dinner. Chaos ensues in the kitchen as the pressure of cooking for Molly Weasley causes Neville to crack. Luckily Charlie is on hand to provide stress relief.



138. The Weasley twins haven't shown up to the christmas eve party, and everyone is very worried. The reason why they haven't shown up is because they are having a baby, labour gets delayed into christmas day which mean overnight stay!! And by then, all the Weasley clan (along with wifes, husbands, kids, the whole lot) is in the hospital, clobbering up the hallways. - MPreg, twincest (which no one besides the twins knows about - no finding out please) and while one of the twins is waiting for the kid to come out the other is talking WWW's products to keep his mind occupied. Oh! I would love it if Molly just popped out a whole like, uh, feast out of her pockets when somebody's tummy rumbled.

I was going to make a table to have it all set out neatly and everything, but with the scrapbook playing up and trying to figure out the HTML it was driving me crazy.

I started copying and pasting the prompts into a word doc. and I got about half way through the first page of prompts before everything went to hell.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated, my co-mod is having to deal with some pretty crappy RL stuff at the moment so I can't ask her to help and she'd probably be as clueless as me.

I have a question about the prompts--how much leeway is there for changing them? Specifically can I change the pairing but use the plot idea? Or should I just keep looking to find something else? Pretty much I have written a ficlet but need to find a prompt that fits.
