Christmas in July challenge is a bust

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately due to lack of entries our Christmas in July challenge won't be happening. I apologise profusely to those of you who have submitted entries, we appreciate all your hardwork. However all is not lost. August is just around the corner which means it's time to start thinking about December holiday fests, submitting prompts, and signing up for mini_fest in December.

For those of you who submitted entries for our July challenge. What would you like us to do with your entries?

#1 Hang onto them until December and use them then
#2 You develop your stories more and resubmit them for December
#3 You post them publicly to your own journals and we have a masterlist of the entries here, similar to how bring back the porn is run on insanejournal.

Ok hon, thanks for participating. I hope you sign up again for our regular December fest. There were a lot of fun prompts last year.

I'll see what everyone else says with the poll and let you know whether we'll post a masterlist or not.

To bad the fest didn't work out, it's all trial and error :( I think everyone is just too busy with summer vacation and all. I'm all for the Christmas mini fest though and will be ready to sign up when you post :)

Yeah, it was a bit of an experiment, unfortunately it didn't work out. I feel bad for the people who did get their entries in though. Hopefully some of them will sign up for December.

December should be a lot of fun though. Around December last year someone posted some porny Christmas songs to one of the comm's I'm a member of. They should produce some interesting fic and art for that matter. :D

Yeah it is a shame, but it's all trial and error, unfortunately it just didn't work out this time.

I'm sure Christmas will be a success, we had a lot of entries last year. Hopefully a few o people return along with some new participants this year.

I have just gotten back into town from a family emergency. Hate that this one is a bust, but I would be more than happy to develop my story some more and post in December. I actually felt like I had more to say, but I just couldn't find the time.
