Summary: Harry shows Draco how to make snow angels. :D
"It's a perfect day, Draco!"
"It's snowing," Draco said with a sneer.
Harry rolled his eyes. "That's what makes it perfect," he said. "The snow is coming down in fat flakes, the temperature is just below freezing, and there's no wind. Let's go outside and make a snowman or a snow angel."
"What is the difference between a snowman and a snow angel?" asked Draco. "Don't tell me you sculpt wings onto a snowman?"
Harry stared at him for a moment. "You're having me on," he accused. When Draco merely raised a brow, Harry flapped his hands. "You don't know how to make a snow angel?!" Draco shook his head, and Harry grabbed his boyfriend's cloak and tossed it to him. "We need to remedy this, right now."
"It's cold out, Harry."
"Please, you've been casting warming charms since you were a child," Harry scoffed. "Now, put your cloak on and come outside with me."
Draco began to grumble under his breath, but he donned his cloak and pulled on a pair of gloves. Harry reached for Draco's hand and pulled him through the house and out into the garden. Draco drew his wand and flicked it about, gathering snow.
"What are you doing?" asked Harry, planting his hands on his hips.
Draco shot him a surprised look. "I am helping you build a snow angel," he replied. "However, there's no need for me to freeze my hands while doing so. My willingness to engage in winter frolic only extends so far, Harry."
"I hate to disappoint you, but that's not how you create a snow angel," said Harry.
Draco frowned. "How is it done, O Wise One?"
Harry took a quick look behind him, then flopped back into the snow. He lay there and began swishing his arms and legs to create a snow angel.
"Harry, are you having a fit of some sort?"
"No, I'm not having a fit," Harry said with a laugh. "This is how you make a snow angel." He stood up carefully and brushed snow off of himself. Harry stepped to the side and pointed at the imprint on the ground. "See? A snow angel!"
"You're mad."
Harry laughed in delight at the scornful expression on Draco's face. "It's fun!" he insisted. "I'll show you again." Harry fell back in the snow, beside his first angel, and began crafting another with swishes of his arms and legs.
Draco crossed his arms over his chest and sniffed. "You look as if you're being Crucio'd in the snow."
Harry paused. "Really?" he asked. "I thought it looked like I was on the receiving end of a good shag."
Draco cleared his throat, and a flush turned his cheeks pink.
"You're thinking about it now, aren't you?" taunted Harry. He chuckled and stood up. "Would you rather go inside and shag?"
"Yes," Draco replied quickly.
"Alright," said Harry, "but not until you try making a snow angel."
"That's blackmail!"
"No, that's Slytherin," Harry countered with a very Malfoy-like-smirk.
Draco huffed and complained, but Harry held firm. "If you don't thrash in the snow, I won't thrash in bed," he threatened.
"Fine!" spat Draco, surrendering with ill-grace. He looked around, finally choosing a patch of snow that appeared more pristine than the rest of the garden. Draco folded his legs and lay back gracefully, eschewing Harry's flopping style.
"How are you faring down there?" Harry asked cheerfully.
"I'm cold, and I hate you, and I'm cold," Draco grumbled.
"I'll warm you up soon enough," Harry promised. He heard Draco's breath hitch, and Harry didn't think it was all due to the cold snow. "Now, swish your arms up and down, and scissor your legs back and forth."
"Is this acceptable?" Draco demanded. He sat up, then stood and took a step away from his creation.
Harry peered around his boyfriend and smiled. "It's perfect, Draco. Thank you."
"Why are you thanking me?" asked Draco.
Harry moved closer and wrapped his arms around Draco. "I appreciate that you came out in the garden and put aside your Pureblood snobbery to indulge me by having fun in the snow," said Harry.
"Yes, well, I would never have heard the end of it, otherwise," Draco said. His voice was gruff as he sought to hide his pleasure at Harry's praise. Draco tightened his arms around Harry and blew a puff of chilled breath over Harry's ear, teasing a shiver out of him. "And now," Draco murmured, "it's time for you to come back inside and indulge me in bed."
