Oh my word! You just made me tear up and I don't really think that okay on Christmas - okay, it's Boxing Day, but still! I hardly think that's fair, Mystery Author!

This was so incredibly evocative, so strong and poignant (as someone said), and I was holding my breath throughout the piece. I usually never even read stories about the Black sisters, but this was truly remarkable and I loved it more than I can say - despite the tears.

I really love the fact that Narcissa is the only one similar to her own mother. I didn't even think about it before, but she is kind of in the middle between Bellatrix and Andromeda, not crazy and dark like the first one nor sweet and independent like the latter. She's perfect as the daughter devoted to her mother and the one through whose eyes we see their last Christmas together and their mother's funeral. Her perspective is so raw and emotional, without being cheesy or silly or overdramatic. I loved it. I loved the way you portray emotions - so real and heart-breaking.

What a great job, this is a little gem! Despite its brevity you really managed to put a lot in here. What a great job you did here! Great job indeed, MA! Kudos! Thank you for sharing! xx
