Word War:
We will be teaming up with hd_writers for a mini_fest word war next weekend. If you need an extra push to get your fic finished then be sure to join in, write all the words, and win prizes! Keep an eye on the comm for more information! (You don't have to be writing h/d to join the word war.)

I wanted to write three fics, but the one I'm submitting decided to take up all my Muse's time. So you all get one long fic instead :)

Yay! Long fics are great!

Essentially, a word war is timed writing. Participants get together and set a time limit – and then write as much as they can in that time period. You can edit or write – so long as there is some creative work being done. At the end of the time slot, authors post how many words they have written, be it 10 or 800. Every word brings you closer to your goal! ♥

hd_writers hosts a couple of different wars a month. Next weekend we are specifically encouraging people to write for mini_fest. H/D writers is a comm for Harry/Draco fans to gather and talk about writing, but any pairing is allowed during our word wars and to be discussed in our chat. Most members ship many pairings (h/d is just what unites us).

For this ww - all mini_fest participants are welcome to join in no matter what you are writing! <3
