Remember that just because the theme is Christmas in July/Post war parties doesn't mean that it has to be epilogue compliant or actually have anything to do with the war. If you want to write or draw about a party it could be for someone's birthday. Christmas in July could be some sort of Wizarding tradition where families get together to celebrate some sort of holiday. You could combine it with the Summer Solstice (northern hemisphere) Winter Solstice (southern hemisphere). Christmas in July could be celebrated at Hogwarts, perhaps in a similar style to Beltane.

It's entirely upto your imaginations. It only needs to be 100words and comply with the theme.

You know, I think I need a list of things-to-do, taped to the wall where I can't miss it.... I swear I'd forgetten (again!) all about wanting to work on the fic until I saw your reply! Maybe I need twice-daily reminders??
No letter as yet... got a huge mail of beading/jewelery supplies though, so I'm madly working on some pendants atm.
