Prompting for 2011 Mini_fest is now open!!!


This year there will be a limit of 4 prompts per person. Please be sure to read the Fest Guidelines before submitting your prompts.

Submit pictures e.g:

Scenarios e,g: At a holiday gathering, Harry mistakenly samples the spiked punch instead of the non-alcoholic version (any pairing) or something with more detail- First Christmas after the war. Andromeda and Narcissa decide it's time to reconnect. The result? The entire family - including extended family (yes, that means Harry) is there. Mayhem ensues, banter abounds, disasters descend. And by night's end, there is much laughter and holiday cheer. ? Your choice who (if anyone) is paired up with whom. I see it more as a gen fic, but any pairings are fine too.

Random words e.g: Candy canes, mistletoe, putting another log on the fire etc.

Ron Weasley is the only Auror who doesn't have a significant other over the holidays. But still, why does he have to be the one to work Christmas with the Ministry's secret agent, Severus Snape? Ron/Snape, please!

Draco abhors planning the Christmas festivites at work, especially when the only one he can find to take on the role of Father Christmas is one Ron Weasley.

It's a lonely holiday for Harry Potter, the first alone since his divorce. Then he gets an emergency request from Headmistress McGonagall to host a Hogwarts student with nowhere else to go for Christmas. Harry's spent too many holidays alone not to agree. But what will be his reaction when who should tumble out of the Floo but a seventh year with an uncanny resemblance to Sirius Black?

Harry/Sirius, please.

AU, Sirius didn't die after the ministry battle. Post War, Harry is living with Remus/Sirius and Sirius decides to make this Christmas the best one yet!

Can either go right or wrong, depends on the creator. (Sudden house full of Weasleys and not enough food? Or Remus knows the best gift for Harry?)

Harry/Draco. Wizard Wheezes product - enchanted mistletoe that when you stand under it shouts out the name of the person you'd most like to kiss. George has apparently hidden the stuff everywhere and is loving the chaos it causes as secret crushes are revealed. Harry gets a bit of a shock when he hears the name it calls out (I'm envisioning there NOT being witnesses and harry trying to make sense of this and keep it a secret as he keeps stumbling across hidden mistletoe that scerams out "DRACO!!!!"). Up to you whether this is 8th year or post-war but either way, boys 18 or older please. :)

Teddy and Albus or James. Christmas at the Burrow means too many people crammed into not enough space. When Teddy learns that he'll be bunking in with Albus-or-James, he's not sure he can manage it without revealing his long-hidden secret crush. Please make the younger partner (Al or James) at least 18, preferably over 20.

Harry/Draco Post-war. Life is not so good for the Malfoys. They still have the Manor and their money but they're having to rebuild their reputation and nothing about life is the way Draco had envisioned. Christmas Eve finds him alone with his parents, feeling down and trapped. He decides to go out for a walk on the Malfoy grounds and happens upon Harry Potter standing at the Manor gates, looking like he's trying to decide whether or not he wants to (try to) come in...

Person A likes Person B who likes Person C who likes Person A. When they each take the opportunity during a gift exchange/holiday party to make a move/confess their feelings, they are all pleasantly surprised to discover who has feelings for them and are amenable to their affections while still harboring feelings for the original object of their own affections. Luna suggests the obvious solution – a threesome! They successfully develop a three-way relationship, much to the fascination of the wizarding world.

Ron’s temper gets the best of him. In a fit of frustration/exasperation during an argument over his love life with his well-meaning but nosy/meddlesome mum, Ron shouts at her (and in front of a bunch of other Weasleys) that he’s dating/shagging Draco Malfoy! It’s an utterly barmy lie and intended to provoke annoyance, but when Molly insists he bring Draco to the Weasley family holiday dinner, he has to convince Draco to play along. Unbeknownst to him, Draco is a bit of a size queen and has had a thing for him ever since he caught a peek, so he’s only all too happy to take advantage of the situation.
