Thank you to everyone who participated in mini_fest Author's and Artists are now free to re-post their work on their own journals. The Masterlist of fic and art will be up shortly. In total we had 59 fics and 11 pieces of art, we had 4 pieces of each written by hogwartsvixxxen and drawn by leochi.

I would like to thank my co-mods:accioslash, asnowyowland pink_mint, thank you so much for all your help ladies I couldn't have done it without you! I will be posting a poll with some questions either later today or tomorrow about mini_fest returning in 2010 and any changes you might want us to make.

As a kick off to mini_fest we present a bit of Harry Potter trivia.

There are twenty-five questions under the cut. We will screen comments so no one will see anyone else's answers.

This is just a gentle reminder to everyone whose put their names down, that entries are due Monday November 23. Remember your fics don't have to be huge epic things, just as long as the 500 word minimum is met it's all good. Remember we are a prompt fest, so choose as many prompts from either of the lists as you like and use them to create your fic.

Fest Fun Question?

I want to know how everyone would feel about participating in a trivia quiz in the days prior to the first entries being posted?

I've been tossing the idea around in my head for a while and I thought it would be something fun for people to participate in.
So my question is. Do you want a trivia quiz? If so what kind. Just Harry Potter trivia or trivia in general?

examples:
What did Hermione use in her hair when she went to the Yule Ball in GOF?
What is the only word in the English language that has three consecutive double letters?
Name Molly Weasley's brothers?
What year was the first testicular guard used in cricket and what year was the first helmet used?

I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to go about posting it yet, whether its a poll or just put your answer in screened comments.
What do you think? Sound like fun or not?

We've had an enquiry regarding sequels for your mini_festfics. I just wanted to let everyone know this is perfectly ok, just let us know which one you want posted first etc. I will update the guidelines with this new information shortly. If you're having difficulties of any kind regarding your entry for mini_fest just us know and we will work something out.

If you want to send any completed entries in early that's great! We definitely won't complain if you want to send it in before the November 23 deadline.

There are a couple of prompts missing from list #1 that were submitted after I finished compiling it. I will update that as well.
I apologise for not doing it sooner, I have been snowed under with work and writing etc.

Remember sign-ups are still open, if you know someone who missed out on their regular holiday fest for whatever reason feel free to send them in our direction. That applies to authors and artists. The more the merrier!

I look forward to receiving all your entries.
