What an awesome fic! You have a knack for description - things like Charlie rubbing his forehead like he's trying to sand it or taking off his shirt like he's mad at it. Charlie's POV is great. He's such a visceral bloke, and you handled both his temper and his tears with grace. Draco is a perfect foil for him, and thank you for keeping him not just snarky, but also kind of contemptuous. I knew there had to be more going on than the age difference, and you did such a nice job of masking and then slowly drawing out the central conflict, and then bam! You put them (and us) right on a cliff. Thanks for an excellent read!
