I loved your Narcissa ... still loyal to her husband but yet trying to be understanding towards her son. The bit about the peacocks made me smile. Ever since reading Foundations by saras_girl, I have a soft spot in my heart for the naughty, evil peacocks. It was amazing how much depth and character you were able to pack into so few words.
