This was beautifully heartbreaking. I've often felt sorry for Severus and the lonely role he was forced to play that last year of the war. This little Christmas truce is a lovely bit of hope for him. It's really too bad no one finds out how awesome he really was most of the time until after he dies. Good job, mystery author!
