I love a good Severus/Minerva friendship fic. This is almost too painful a truce to think about, considering how much anger, grief and mistrust the staff must be feeling over Dumbledore's murder. wow. But, that's why Minerva is a Gryffindor. When you said Snape was too choked up to speak, I was right there with him. I can't imagine how isolated he must have felt during this time.
