I too thought right away of "The Little Match Girl!" &hearts That's always been a favorite story of mine!

Gorgeous artwork too! Harry is so pensive but beautiful. The monotones except for the lit window are striking in this season of festive colors. Fortunately for Harry, he was kept outside in the cold metaphorically, not physically. So unlike the Little Match Girl, he eventually celebrates many Christmases with his own family!

Aww! What a great job with watercolor and gouache by the way. I always find it so difficult to get things to look right, especially in the smaller details. But his face looks great!
