Oh my. One of my favorite pairings, and so beautifully done, Mystery Author. Frost's poem (which I have always loved) as a starting point is perfect. I love the quiet, low-key setting, the lack of haste they both have, the enjoyment in each other as companions, not just as lovers. And you've kept both of them so well in character, Severus with his self-doubt and Minerva with her no-nonsense nature to shake him out of it ("I do hope you're not going to be a petulant lover" lol!)
